  • The children of Sierra Nevada, the main protagonists of the Three Wise Men parade in the resort of Granada

The youngest skiers of Sierra Nevada, belonging to the resort's clubs, opened the entourage of their magical Majesties by skiing down the illuminated slope of El Río, all preceded by the Star of Illusion, which this year was carried by the double Spanish champion of bumps and skicross, Hada Ruiz.

Once in Pradollano, the children from fourteen Sierra Nevada clubs stood on the sides of the final section of the El Río slope to witness the arrival of a representation of the ski schools. The members of the telemark club Rikitaum were, as they do every 5th January, in charge of making way for their Majesties the Three Wise Men from the East.

A fireworks display announced that Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar had arrived in Pradollano. The Three Wise Men crossed the Plaza de Andalucía to -following a safety lane- greet the children before leaving to distribute gifts around the resort.
