All-inclusive interpretive workshops: astronomical observation in Sierra Nevada

The All-Inclusive Interpretive Astronomical Observation Workshops in Sierra Nevada offer a unique nighttime experience during the height of the Perseid meteor shower (Tears of San Lorenzo). An activity that combines astronomical dissemination, observation of the sky, picnic dinner and musical atmosphere, in a privileged high mountain environment in Sierra Nevada.

The activity begins in the Plaza de Andalucía from 9:00 p.m., coinciding with the opening of the Borreguiles cable car, and then takes place in the Borreguiles area (Sierra Nevada), with an approximate duration of 4 hours (from 10:30 p.m. to 00:45 a.m., time to be confirmed at the time of booking).

🔭 Astronomical experience in Sierra Nevada for all ages

The workshop is designed as a journey through the wonders of the cosmos in Sierra Nevada, aimed at families, children and adults, and structured in two different blocks:

Workshop for families with children up to 15 years old
Participatory talk with games and adapted explanations, designed to arouse the curiosity of the little ones.
Workshop for adults and children from 8 years old
Informative talk dedicated to explaining the keys and singularities of the Perseid meteor shower, one of the most outstanding astronomical phenomena of the summer.

Once the workshops are over, all attendees travel outside to observe the night sky in Sierra Nevada, using astronomical instruments and with the accompaniment of professionals
