The Sierra Nevada Límite GRAN FONDO is one of the most emblematic cycling races in the national calendar for many reasons, the main one being that it finishes in the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort at an altitude of 2100 metres. 
With a spectacular route through the province of Granada, the Sierra Nevada Límite GRAN FONDO offers a unique cycling experience for all cycling enthusiasts.

Apaches Fex concert

The Festival Internacional de Musical y Danza de Granada is once again programming within the activities of the FEX the performance of the group Apache, the best pop-rock of all time in a FREE concert in the Plaza de Andalucía at 21:30.

Artists Luis Miguel Peláez lead vocals, guitar Juan Carlos González lead guitar, vocals Diego Contreras drums, effects Antonio Molinero percussion, sample Isaac Aguilera keyboards, guitar, vocals Pedro Bria bass, vocals Since its beginnings, the band Apache has always shown in its concerts a wide range of registers, including in its repertoire many of the masterpieces of pop-rock history.

Sierra Nevada Límite - cyclotourism event

Sierra Nevada Límite SUBIDA AL VELETA is the cyclotourism event with the highest altitude finish line in Europe. A real cyclotourism challenge where the lovers of two wheels will face one of the longest mountain passes in Europe with more than 38km of ascent, with a positive difference in altitude of 2250m and an altitude of 3100m.
With a spectacular route from Cenes De la Vega to the foot of the Veleta, the Sierra Nevada Límite SUBIDA AL VELETA offers a unique cycling experience for all cycling enthusiasts.

Festivities in honour of the Virgen de las Nieves

Festivities in honour of the Virgen de las Nieves, with the traditional night-time pilgrimage in the early hours of 4 to 5 August.

Aparthotel Trevenque ***

Rock returns to the resort with the thirteenth edition of the highest festival of the peninsula, on the 18th and 19th of August.
In the first preview of the line-up, with a very seventies design, the following bands were confirmed: DOCTOR EXPLOSIÓN from Asturias, the most punk-rock band from Malaga, NO PICKY and SARAJEVO 84 from Granada.
 The three new bands join the already announced: Doctor Explosión, No Picky and Sarajevo'84.
