From the place of Hoya de la Mora, next to the image of the Virgen de las Nieves, we will follow the Camino del Agua until we reach the area of Borreguiles. FREE ACCESS. NO GUIDE OR LIFT TICKET REQUIRED.
Virgen de las Nieves Route
The route starts at the upper station of the Borreguiles gondola lift and runs along the Borreguiles road, crossing several ski slopes, until reaching the monument to the Virgen de las Nieves, inaugurated in 1968, a few meters from the divide that limits the Natural Park with the Sierra Nevada National Park, leaving to the northeast (200m) the view of the astronomical observatory Mojón del Trigo.
The slope of ascent – back to Borreguiles – is very gentle along the route (3%). This trail allows you to enjoy, in its initial section, the majestic landscape that gives us the ravine of San Juan, in the National Park.
