Guarantees and coverage if during the day of skiing or snowboarding the insured suffers injuries that prevent them from continuing these sports
The guarantees guaranteed in the contract will be valid on the marked slopes open to the public in Sierra Nevada for skiing or snowboarding. They will not be valid if the user accesses off-piste or closed areas.
What is the difference between Compulsory Travelers Insurance (S.O.V.) and Skier's Insurance?
Accident Insurance: the insurance includes medical assistance, reimbursement of the ski pass according to conditions, reimbursement of ski lessons, Civil Liability insurance as well as many other guarantees in case of accident or collision with another skier on the slopes.
SOV - Compulsory travel insurance included in the ski pass. Coverage in the mechanical means in case of negligence or malfunction on the part of Cetursa Sierra Nevada.
When should I buy the insurance?
When you have chosen the type of ski pass you are going to buy, you will be given the option to add the corresponding insurance to the cart in the first step of the purchase process.
If you have not added the insurance during the purchase of this ski pass, you will not have the opportunity to do so later.
The option to purchase the insurance will appear every time you make a purchase of a ski pass.
What products can I associate the insurance with?
The insurance can be associated exclusively with ½ day passes; 1 to 7 consecutive day passes; Long Duration passes; Season passes; and Night passes.
What is the validity period of the insurance?
For half-day, night-time, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 consecutive day ski passes, the period of coverage will be that corresponding to the opening and closing hours of the Resort for the specific day for which the ski pass has been purchased.
For the ski passes for free use and long-term promotions 10, 15, 20 days and season, the coverage period will be that corresponding to the opening and closing hours of the Resort for the days chosen by the ski pass holder to access the slopes.
These guarantees will cease at the time the Insured returns to his/her place of Habitual Residence, or when he/she has been repatriated by the Insurer to his/her place of Habitual Residence or hospital near it.
If I ski off-piste, does insurance cover me?
No.
The guarantees guaranteed by this contract will be valid on the marked and marked slopes of the Sierra Nevada Ski and Snowboard Resort that are open to the public for skiing or snowboarding.
The guarantees guaranteed by this contract will not be valid if the user accesses off-piste or closed areas of the Sierra Nevada ski area
In what situations is Skier's Insurance not covered by me?
Excluded from the insured guarantees (unless expressly included in the guarantee) are damages, situations, expenses and consequences arising from:
Specific exclusions of Supplementary Civil Liability Insurance
Civil liability for professional activity, that derived from the use, use and circulation of motor vehicles, as well as that derived from the use or ownership of devices and weapons of any type or nature, damage caused under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances, participation in official sports competitions, as well as compensation as a result of economic damages not derived from previous personal or material damage, is expressly excluded.
Summary of Warranties and Limits
