Information and tips
What to bring to the snow
The use of warm and waterproof clothing and footwear is recommended. It is best to dress in layers to be able to adapt easily to temperature changes. The air between the garments is the best insulator.
It is important to remember to wear the three G's: gloves, glasses, hat. If you are going to ski or snowboard, as in other sports such as cycling, a helmet is appropriate.
Recently, the use of other protections such as back protections is spreading. Indeed, speed and the existence of obstacles make it advisable to protect yourself well.
While enjoying the snow, we sometimes forget that we are exposed to dangerous ultraviolet rays. We should protect ourselves with a cream of at least factor 30.
The cold often masks the feeling of thirst, but for muscles to work well, you have to stay well hydrated.
You choose track
You have to acquire the skills progressively, going from the easiest to the most difficult.

Safety tips
Do not ski or snowboard off-piste, or enter closed areas.
Do not approach the edges of the track, to avoid leaving unexpectedly.
For the same reason, it is advisable to stay away from windscreens, cannons, bollards or other obstacles.
Reduce speed when entering the range of a snow-producing canyon, as the quality of the snow may change.
Bring well-prepared skis and boards (edges, sole, bindings). A little maintenance of the material ensures greater pleasure and control.
