Sierra Nevada opens the season on Saturday with 13 kilometers and 900 meters of elevation

The Sierra Nevada ski and mountain resort will open this Saturday, November 23, the winter season 2019/20 with 13 skiable kilometers, 900 meters of elevation and snow thicknesses (dust quality) of between 20 and 80 centimeters.

The tracks that debut the new campaign are concentrated in the areas of Borreguiles (Peseta, Zorro -first stage-, Panoramic II, Perdiz, Beginners I, II, III, IV, V, and VII; El Bosque) and El Río (Rio, Maribel, Zaragatillo and last section of the Eagle). The ski lifts to be launched this Saturday are: the Al-Andalus gondola lift, the Dauro, Borreguiles and El Bosque carpets, and the Emile Allais, Veleta II and Veleta chairlifts.

The Blackbird activity park will have available the tubbing area, sledding and the Russian Sled.

All parking lots at the station, including the Andalusian Square underground, will be free until November 29.

Furthermore, Sierra Nevada will hold this Friday the "SnowFriday" with the release - exclusively online, for members of the Sierra Nevada Club card - of 2,000 two-day ski passes to use on any day of the season.
