The Astronomical Observation activity in Sierra Nevada consists of a guided experience of interpretation of the night sky and direct observation with large portable telescopes, led by an astronomer from the Azimuth team.

The activity takes place in the Paraje de Fuente Alta (near Pradollano), a high mountain enclave above 2,500 meters of altitude, ideal for astronomical observation thanks to its natural conditions, which allow you to enjoy a darker and cleaner sky than in urban areas.

During the session, participants will have the opportunity to get closer to the cosmos with professionals, discovering elements of the night sky and observing through state-of-the-art portable telescopes, which allow the identification of stars, celestial bodies and other objects in the universe, in an environment especially suitable for this practice.

The experience is carried out in small groups, with a minimum and maximum of 16 attendees (from 8 years old), which allows a closer and more participatory development of the activity.
