The Sierra Nevada Skyrunning 2026 was born with the aim of consolidating itself as one of the benchmark events on the Andalusian calendar of mountain races.
For a full weekend, runners from all over Spain will be able to enjoy an event held in the heart of Sierra Nevada, one of the most emblematic natural spaces in Europe.
The event takes place in the surroundings of the Sierra Nevada National Park and Natural Park, Biosphere Reserve, offering a unique experience of high altitude in an incomparable setting for the practice of trail running and skyrunning.
Organized by the Sierra Nevada Trail Running Club and CETURSA Sierra Nevada, the competition will be held on August 21, 22 and 23, 2026 with start and finish at the Plaza de Andalucía in Pradollano.
The event will be endorsed by the Andalusian Federation of Mountain Sports, Climbing and Hiking (FADMES) and will be governed by the current regulations of Mountain Races of said federation.

The I Sierra Nevada Skyrunning 2026 is organized by:
● Sierra Nevada Trail Running Club
● CETURSA Sierra Nevada
With the collaboration of public bodies, private entities, sponsors and volunteers who make the celebration of the event possible.
The event will be carried out in accordance with the current regulations of the Andalusian Federation of Mountain Sports, Climbing and Hiking (FADMES), the Spanish Federation of Mountain Sports and Climbing (FEDME) and the legislation applicable to protected natural areas.
